The Simulation Reloads

by Chris Scott

Everything the same except this time there are three dozen different flavors of Coke, everyone’s parents are 1% less critical, sunsets are 2% more vivid, and there are now zero grotesque monsters swinging down from trees with barbed tentacles to snatch up hoards of unsuspecting victims on every street corner, their screams futilely echoing into the sky as they slowly dissolve inside of the beasts’ acid-filled digestive sacs, and remember, as always, we are testing to see if anyone is happier.
